Places to Visit

FRAISTHORPE BEACH

Our favourite beach is Fraisthorpe, just 12 miles from Swallow’s Nest. This is a long stretch of sand, reaching all the way to Bridlington.

We are regular visitors. In the summer, we picnic and paddle, build sand castles, play cricket and have barbecues. In winter, we take our dog Oscar for a long romp across the sands.

There is pay and display parking in the farmer’s field and up at the farm, there are public toilets and a café, serving hot and cold food and ice creams.

Fraisthorpe beach is a favourite amongst wind, kite and sand surfers. Contrary to local rumour, this is not a nudist beach!
